Position Title:              Junior Planning Engineer

Report to:                    Senior Planning Engineer
Location:                     Site Construction - Qatar

Job Overview

  

The Junior Planning Engineer is responsible for all functions relating to planning, scheduling, and reporting. He should maintain continuous communication, interaction, and coordination with the construction team including subcontractors. He shall be responsible to monitor the progress of work at the site and report accurately the progress, delays, critical activities, constraints, bottle-neck, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

​

1. Assist the Senior Planning Engineer in preparing schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations as requested and checks and confirms that the correct scope of work is reflected on assigned schedules.

2. Updating the customer inquiry database in accordance with key performance indicators.

3. Attending monthly team meetings

4. Day to day liaison with team members, clients, and interested parties

5. To follow instructions as stated by Senior Planning Engineer

6. To meet all daily, weekly and monthly KPI targets

7. Ensuring a right-first-time approach by maintaining high productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

8. To undertake any other tasks and duties within the scope and grade of the post.

Qualifications

​

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Planning/ Scheduling Engineer in a construction environment.

• Well versed with Oracle Primavera Project Manager
